days like these




intense late-night painting sessions seems to be paying off..
I thought long and hard before deciding to leave the wooden sky.

i love the wooden sky.
it seems to have such warmth and there is something so disturbing about it....its finality and defiance. depth and rigidity about the earth.

I have a picture of moss and roots below a tree that reminds me of this. I can just see the little people partying under that wooden sky. Actually, do you have more than way to hang this painting? Hung on the side, it could be a door, and on the bottom, somehow a boat? I did that with my first painting of an arrowhead! Oh, and I have a free book I would like to share with you.
